Summary:
Responsible for cleanliness of kitchen and the sanitization of dishes.
Essential duties and
Responsibilities:
Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Accountable for assigned daily cleaning job:
mopping, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.
Run the dishwashing machine according to established procedure and put clean dishes in proper place.
Check all paper and soap dispensers and refill when necessary.
Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations and standards to meet government and company stipulations in accordance with Title 22 regulations for Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Help Cooks ?prep food? as needed.
Help Salad Prep Cook set up and break down Noon Salad Bar.
Transport carts to Medical Center and Hillcrest.
Help put deliveries away following established procedures for rotating products.
Help Dining Room Supervisor as needed in employee dining room.
Follow safety policies and exhibit safety habits and practices sanitary standards per department policy.
Use equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner, follow established safety procedures, use appropriate safeguards, and observe common sense rules of safety in all on-the-job activities including the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
Conduct self in a manner that reflects credit on Carmel Valley Manor and encourages others to do the same.
Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, including, but not limited to using proper hand washing techniques, observing no smoking policy except as designated, wearing hairnet or hat in food production area and maintaining a neat appearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
