Pay is $60,000 to $100,000 plus depending on experience.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience.
As well as Smog License backing up Star Smog Technician on the OIS AND Genisis 3 on inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
FOLLOWING 6 MONTHS PROBATION WITH GOOD REPORT $500 BONUS Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic/Star Smog Technician Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform work in an efficient, clean and accurate manner, following dealership and manufacture standards.
Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined on vehicles and identify potential troublesome areas.
Basic computer and internet literacy.
Operate a varied of hand, power, shop tools and diagnostic equipment.
Communicate with service team to understand the customer's needs and to discuss necessary work to be performed.
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
Repair malfunctions and damages as needed.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services.
Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
Document work performed and recommendations.
Test drive vehicles to ensure quality of work performed.
Maintain a clean work environment and keep track of company tools.
Stay updated on company and factory training.
Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic Requirements:
